What is Gardeners Box?
A monthly seed subscription for UK gardeners. Every delivery includes eight seasonal seed varieties, a printed growing booklet and wooden plant markers.
Do you send seeds or plants?
Seeds for you to grow. You'll need suitable growing space, compost and containers.
Is it suitable for beginners?
The printed booklet explains how to sow and care for each variety. Some seeds need a sheltered start or more time to germinate, so there is room to learn as you go.
Do I need a greenhouse?
Requirements vary. Some seeds can be sown outside; others need shelter or an indoor start. Ask us about your growing setup if you're unsure.
Can I grow the whole box indoors?
Gardeners Box is intended for outdoor growing. Some varieties start indoors before moving outside. The former indoor box has been discontinued.
Is it a vegetable-only box?
The mix changes with the season. Across the year it can include flowers, grasses and other garden plants, alongside herbs and edibles.
Are pots and compost included?
Your box contains seeds, a printed growing booklet and wooden markers. You provide suitable containers, compost and growing equipment. The booklet explains the method for each variety.
Is this a flower seed subscription box?
Gardeners Box is a mixed seasonal seed subscription. Across the year, the selection can include flowers, grasses and other garden plants alongside herbs and edibles. Explore the box contents to see how it works.
Plans & payment
How much does it cost?
Monthly is £10.99 + £2 delivery (£12.99 per month). Annual is £115 + £16 delivery for twelve boxes (£131 upfront). A one-year gift is £120 + £16 delivery (£136 once).
What do I save with the annual plan?
£24.88 compared with twelve monthly payments at the current prices, including delivery. You pay £131 upfront, rather than twelve payments of £12.99.
Do the plans renew?
The monthly subscription renews monthly; the annual subscription renews yearly. The one-year gift ends after twelve deliveries and does not automatically renew.
How do I cancel?
Cancel through your account at least seven days before your next renewal. Contact us if you need help.
Giving a gift
How long does a gift last?
Twelve monthly deliveries. It finishes automatically after the twelfth box, with no automatic renewal.
Can I send it straight to them?
Yes. Enter their UK delivery address when ordering. Your message is printed on a card in their first box.
Does the card arrive every month?
Your personalised card is included in the first delivery.
Can it arrive for a particular date?
Contact us before ordering to check the timing for your occasion. A specific arrival date isn't promised here.
Is a seed subscription a good gift for them?
It suits someone who enjoys growing from seed and has suitable outdoor space. They need their own compost, containers and time to care for the plants. The printed guide explains how to sow each variety. Ask us about suitability if you are unsure.
How is the gift different from an annual subscription?
The annual subscription is £131 including UK delivery and renews yearly. The one-year gift is £136 including UK delivery, includes your personal card in the first box, and ends automatically after twelve monthly deliveries.

Where do you deliver?
UK addresses only. Monthly delivery is £2 per box; annual and gift delivery is £16 for all twelve boxes.
When will my first box arrive?
Your dispatch date is confirmed after ordering. If you're buying for an occasion, check the timing with us first.
What if my box is missing or damaged?
Get in touch with your order number, if available, and delivery details. For damage, a photo of the box or contents can help.
What if I'm unhappy with my order?

What if my seeds haven't germinated?
Check the booklet for the growing conditions and germination time. If you need help, tell us the plant name, when you sowed it and the conditions you've used.
